This painting has been created using oil pastels, watercolors and pencil. The picture is of the prophet Muhammad's Masjid in Medina. I have created a dusk like atmosphere and a searing heat in the foreground to give the viewer a sense of the hardship the worshipper has to endure in the dry desert like climate and the summer months.

A painting which conjurs feelings of hope and gratitude.
